The Museum – is the second school book that reflects the lives of many generations who have walked through the halls and hallways of the school.
The idea of locating a museum within the school has been on the minds of many generations of teachers and principals. The materialization of such an exhibition belonged to Professor Dascălu Gh. – director of the Normal School from 1974 to 1989. It was an initiative based on the existence of documents and objects that had belonged to graduates of the school. The museum operated in the hall next to the school secretariat between 1981 and 1986.
In 1993, the director of the unit – Prof. Univ. Dr. Ion Popescu Argeșel – a graduate of the school, has the initiative to create a history museum and, in addition, a folk art museum.
The Golești Museum also contributed to the creation of the museum by donating some display cases. The objects that were part of the collection were donated by former graduates, teachers, and students of the school.
The museum was organized next to the school amphitheater so that it could be seen by everyone who visited the school.
